The complex is located in the town of Villa Rica. Founded by Hernán Cortés to his arrival in America, as Villa Rica de la Veracruz or "Place of the true cross." Is considered the first European settlement in America and the first Mexican council of the Spanish arrival in 1519.
It is flanked by a sea of beauty for swimmers and an important hill of 300 meters called "Quiahuiztlan", where Totonac culture built an important fort which is comprised of 78 tombs, 4 pyramids, a ball game with a amazing view of the coast and other undiscovered ruins.
